The Vasa Museum

Summary: This is a unique museum that is built around the 17th century royal warship that sank on its maiden voyage in 1628. After being submerged for 333 years, the ship was rescued from the seabed and is now presented in all its glory, complete with masts, ropes, and tackle.

The Royal Palace

Summary: The Royal Palace is one of the world’s largest inhabited palaces – with more than 600 rooms! It was built primarily in the 18th century in Italian baroque style on the site of the old Three Crowns castle. Visitors can visit the state suites and the various museums at the palace, including the Royal Armory.

Fotografiska

Summary: Fotografiska is one of the world’s largest meeting places for contemporary photography. Four unique, large exhibitions and about 20 smaller exhibitions are presented annually. Moderna Museet

Summary: The museum presents contemporary art side by side with modern classics and is set in lush surroundings on the island of Skeppsholmen. Skansen Open-Air Museum

Summary: Skansen is the oldest open-air museum in the world, founded in 1891, complete with historical buildings, Nordic animals, a children’s zoo and an aquarium. A favorite both among Stockholmers and visitors passing through, and it’s a perfect family outing.

The City Hall

Summary: The tower of City Hall, with its three golden crowns on top, is the most signi cant building on the Stockholm skyline. Apart from being the city’s administrative centre where hundreds of people work, it is also the venue for the Nobel Banquet that takes place on the 10th of December every year. Make sure you don’t miss the Golden Hall adorned with 18.5 million gold mosaic pieces.

ABBA The Museum

Summary: Walk in, dance out! The music, clothes, lyrics, musicals, and lms of ABBA are on display in a permanent exhibition. Swedish popular music has also been honored with a dedicated museum in the Swedish Music Hall of Fame. The museum is modern, interactive, and – of course – a nonstop musical experi- ence.

Drottningholm Palace

Summary: Drottningholm is Sweden’s best pre- served royal palace from the seventeenth century. It is the perma- nent residence of the royal family and is one of Stockholm’s three World Heritage Sites. The palace features magni cent salons from the seventeenth, eighteenth, and nineteenth centuries, a beautiful park, a unique palace theater, and a Chinese Pavilion.

Old Town / Gamla Stan

Summary: Gamla Stan is like a living, pedestrian- friendly museum lled with sights, restaurants, cafés, bars, and places to shop. The narrow, winding cobblestone streets, with their buildings in different colors, give Gamla Stan its unique character. Västerlång- gatan and Österlånggatan are the district’s main streets, but head off the beaten track to get the true feel of the island. The Archipelago

NORWAY

Museum of Cultural history

Summary: The Museum of Cultural history in Oslo includes both the Historical museum and the Viking Ship Museum. The Oseberg ship is a well-preserved  ship from the Viking era, which makes it worth visiting the Viking Ship museum. The ship was excavated in the early 20th century and is preserved in Oslo.

The Vigland Museum and Park

The Kon-Tiki Museum

Summary: The Kon-Tiki Museum is a museum that tells more about Thor Heyerdahl's sailing on a magnificent raft to Polynesia. Kon-Tiki is the name of the raft, which was built in Peru and was sailed in 1947 to Polynesia under the direction of Thor Heyerdahl. The sailing was carried out to confirm Thor Heyerdahl's theories about migration in the Pacific Ocean.

Pulpit Rock (Preikestolen)

Summary: Visit the Pulpit Rock, Preikestolen. This rock has been appointed by National Geographics as "The World's Most Iconic Destination". It is a flat cutting angle of approximately 30 x 30 meters, traveling 600 meters above Lysefjorden in Forsands municipality. The walk to the plateau takes about 2 hours and the terrain is bumpy. The Pulpit Rock is about one hour from Stavanger. Transport and guide should be booked in advance.

The Royal Palace

The little mermaid

Christiansborg Palace

The Cathedral

Kamppi Chapel of Silence

Summary: Kamppi is located in the corner of Narinkkatori square, by the entrance of Kamppi shoppingcentrum. The Parliament

The Parliament

Rock Church
